Abstract

Fenaxon is a nutritional supplement and it is used for treating acute and chronic peripheral nervous disorders. A clinical observation on 22 subjects with different peripheral disorders was conducted in Neurology Clinic at University First MHAT Sofia „St. Joan Krastitel”. We evaluated the effectiveness of Fenaxon in pain reducing. We followed the clinical features and neurophysiological findings – motor unit action potential conduction velocity (n. ulnaris, n. medianus, n. fibularis, n. tibialis), sensory nerve conduction velocity and amplitude (n.ulnaris, n.medianus, n. suralis). In conclusion, Fenaxon deemed beneficial as an adjuvant for co-analgesic therapy.
